On Monday the 25th April a group of us from Saol set off for the beautiful county of Wicklow. We brought a picnic lunch with us. When we arrived we couldn’t help but shiver with the bracing wind but once we started walking the sun came out and we warmed up from the exercise because the cold was no longer an issue. We walked down to the Waterfall and took a few photos. I was impressed by the height of the waterfall and we all remarked how therapeutic it was to be surrounded by such natural beauty. We did a trek and Peter became the Clubhouse Bear Ghylls, leading the way and insuring our survival. To refuel we tucked into our sandwiches and a yummy chocolate cake (thanks Mark) washed down with a double espresso in my case!!
All in all it was a lovely day and we were all tired from the fresh air. Thanks to the members in the coffee dock for the lovely packed lunch.
