In Saol we are focusing on health for the New Year. We are hoping a combination of slight changes to the amount of exercise we do and the amount of treats we consume, should help us to improve our health. One way we plan to do this is to replace toast/scone at morning break once a week with a fabulous smoothie. Here is one of our favorites.
Banana Ginger Smoothie
Soothe digestion, heartburn, nausea, and other stomach trouble with the fresh ginger in this natural remedy drink.
1 banana, sliced ¾ c (6 oz) vanilla yogurt 1 Tbsp honey ½ tsp freshly grated ginger
COMBINE the banana, yogurt, honey, and ginger. Blend until smooth.
