Christmas Markets

On December 12th we started our Christmas celebrations with a social in Dublin city centre. A group of 14 clubhouse members met at Stephens green shopping centre. It was a cold crisp morning  and there was a real feel of Christmas in the air.

We went for coffee and a small bite in Bewely’s and chatted about the presents we had purchased or those we still had to get, as well as how we were planning on spending our Christmas holidays. It was really lovely.

Afterwards we strolled around the new Christmas markets. There were plenty of stalls selling art and craft pieces, mulled wine and a wide variety of food. On our way back we went for a nice walk through Stephens Green park. The hustle and bustle around town was lovely and so atmospheric.

We later went for lunch in Captain America’s before doing our own Christmas shopping. It was a great day.
